Our story

For five years, we have sat with students, professionals, and families navigating the unique weight of living across borders. We offer psychological support that speaks your language.

The Humanity was founded by a wellness practitioner and her team with more than five years of clinical experience and over 1,000 client sessions, a counseling service that has supported the Burmese community since 2020.

The Humanity grew from a simple observation: the people who most need psychological support are often the least able to reach it — because of stigma, language, distance, or cost. We exist to change that.

What We Believe

Mental wellness is a basic human right, not an earned luxury.

Wellness is the foundation of human performance, healthy relationships, and sustainable organisations. We build that foundation — accessibly, intelligently, and with genuine care.

Our Framework

H — Healthy Self-Awareness. Knowing yourself is where everything starts.

U — Understanding Emotions. Feelings are information, not weakness.

M — Meaningful Relationships. We heal and grow in connection.

A — Adaptive Resilience. Not toughness — flexibility.

N — Nurturing Growth. Small steps, sustained, become a different life.

Our partner

A team of practitioners dedicated to culturally understanding, accessible care.

Dr. Soe Lwin

Psychotherapist

Ma Eingyin founded The Humanity after five years of training and experience in counseling hours — supporting individuals, couples, families, and business owners across Thailand and beyond. She specialises in relationship and couple counseling, trauma recovery, inner child work, and psychosocial wellbeing, bringing a deeply client-centered approach that helps each person find their own answers at their own pace. She also served as a counselor at a US-based foundation in Thailand, working with individuals, couples, and LGBTQ+ clients.

Sessions available in Burmese and English.

Dr. Soe Lwin is a Chevening Scholar and qualified psychotherapist with clinical training spanning medicine, psychology, and psychotherapy — supporting children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of mental health concerns. He specialises in trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, phobias, anger management, substance use, and psychological support for those living with cancer or chronic illness, bringing both clinical rigour and compassionate care to every session.

For clients who need ongoing counseling, we work hand-in-hand with our specialised counseling partner serving the Burmese community since 2020.
